About Jared Richter
Jared has been married to Leah Richter for 25 years, and they have two sons, Caleb-20 and Shea-17. Jared retired from the South Dakota Army National Guard, with 26 years of service, and joined Dupont Real Estate. Jared earned the Rising Star Award for Dupont Real Estate and awarded a Top Agent award amongst over 1 million Realtors Nationwide in 2021. In 2022 Jared was the top Real Estate Agent for Dupont Real Estate and again in 2024. In the fall of 2024 Jared and his family moved to Watertown. Jared is currently licensed to sell in all of South Dakota and is a member of the Northeast Association of Realtors and the Black Hills Association of Realtors.
Jared has developed a rock star team whose values are in line with his, and that is putting the client and their needs first. He was active military for with the Army National Guard for 20 years (most as a Recruiting and Retention NCO), so understands that there is more to sales than selling. Customer Service is always number one with him and his team. Real Estate is not much different than recruiting as we are helping people make one of the biggest decisions in their lives. Jared has some core lenders that go out of their way, and they make sure they are at every closing and have weekly progress reports for their clients. They truly work as one. On top of that he has top notch insurance agents that he works with, as they put his clients first. He ensures he uses detailed home inspectors who spends three and a half hours on every home, then does a thirty minute to an hour walk through with his clients and himself explaining the whole house and any deficiencies they find. Because of the team that he has created, he has had a ton of success in finding and securing homes for his clients in this tough real estate market. On top of that Jared is a blue-collar guy. In the last year, alone, he has assisted his clients in moving, cleaning dog poo, power washing decks, small home repairs, cleaned dryer vents, scooped snow, as well as many other small projects to help them move or sell their homes.

Jared has been involved with wrestling for over 30 years and is currently on the board for South Dakota USA Wrestling. He enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycle in his spare time.
